Yagi Antenna
In the Fall of 2024, I made a Yagi-Antenna for my Physics Wave Phenomena class. It’s made out recycled coaxial cable, pvc pipe, and measuring tape.
Underwater Navigation Tool
In the fall of 2024, I took a course on Celestial Navigation. For my final project, I designed a tool used to make and markup underwater charts while scuba diving.
Pong, with Robots
In the fall of 2024, I took Introduction to Robotics. For my final project, I worked with two other classmates to simulate the 1972 game Pong using the two UR5e robots and ROS.
Harvard Mechanical Systems (ES125)
In the fall of 2024, I was an Enhanced Course Assistant for Mechanical Systems for which I hosted Office Hours, supervised lab work, graded homework, graded exams, proctored exams, and organized the other Course Assistants in completing grading of the homeworks.
The Volpe Center
In the summer of 2024, I worked at the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center as an Engineering Trainee. I was mainly researching Crash Energy Management systems in passenger rail cars by performing FEA simulations in Abaqus and crafting figures in Excel. I also got to audit a Maritime Domain Awareness Class with Naval Officers from the Philippines, Bulgaria, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the Royal Thai Navy. We took a field trip to the Merchant Marine Academy where we applied these skills in navigation/bridge simulators!
Harvard Egg Drop Competition Winner
As part of my Mechanical Systems Class, my team and I used Solidworks, Python, and Laster Cutting to design, simulate, and implement a shock absorbing system which took first prize in the annual competition. Our model was the lightest of the class!
Harvard Robot Competition Winner
As part of my Intro to CAD class, my lab team and I used Solidworks, Cura, CNC machining, Laser Cutting, and multiple 3D printing models to design, prototype, and implement our robot which took first prize in the annual competition.
Wellman Center at MGH
Over the 2020/2021 school year, I interned (virtually) at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital under the direction of Gary Tearney MD, PhD. I designed and 3D printed structures using a novel filament with Fusion360 and Cura: applied error propagation in data analysis via Google Sheets in analyzing polymer efficacy. I put my new 3D printing skills to the test in making a birthday gift for my cousin, pictured to the left.
